Who We Are
Chris and Kate Valenti incorporated CK Valenti Designs in 2005. Chris has a long history of working with wood, beginning when he was very young. His father, a Union Carpenter in New York, introduced him to the craft; he has continued to build his skills over the years. While pursuing his college education, Chris worked in residential and commercial renovation for high-end homes in Manhattan and surrounding areas in New York. An Electrical Engineer by degree, Chris left the semi-conductor industry to pursue his passion of building beautiful works with his hands.

Kate complements the Engineer in Chris with an eye for design, and describes her designs as modern with a traditional warmth. Kate and Chris favor clean lines and patterns that enhance the beauty of the raw wood and metal materials being used.
What We Do
We specialize in creating custom architectural and ornamental wood and metal designs. Past projects have included wooden built-in cabinets for custom audio/video arrangements, yard gates and railings, and ornamental metal signage and panels. We take pride in being able to build a custom creation that will suit your personality as well as the character of the space you are trying to complete.

- We stay current with our industries through continuing education and participation in industry groups. We believe in the benefit of collaboration with other businesses to advance and improve a craft and are proud to be an active member of the Cabinet Makers Association.
